Super Precision Spindle Bearings The 5X-300 advanced design 6-bearing thermal symmetrical spindle that is dynamically balanced and provides high axial thrust capacity while generating minimum heat buildup.
The spindle design features 4 class-7 P4 high precision angular contact bearings at the front of the spindle with 2-additional bearings at the top to provide for high rigidity and a standard spindle speed of 8,000 rpm, with a 10,000-rpm option.
A special labyrinth seal is designed into the nose of the spindle to prevent coolant or fine particle contamination during machining and ensures high spindle accuracy and a long and productive machine service life.
