1. Categories of Personally Identifiable Information Collected

When you visit the Site, there are two types of personally identifiable information you might provide to us: (A) information you choose to submit, (B) website use information collected by us and by third parties as you interact with our website.

A. Submitted Information

In order to register as a dealer, users must submit certain information. Ganesh also collects the information that users choose to submit to Ganesh, such as through a Credit Application, Customer Feedback, Employment Application, Parts Request, Service Request, or Time Study Request. Children are not eligible to register of or submit information through the Site, and we ask that minors not submit any personal information to us.

B. Website Use Information

In addition to personal information that you choose to submit, the Site also gathers other information that may be used by Ganesh or shared with third parties. This information may be helpful for marketing purposes or for improving the services we offer. Generally, this information is collected through traffic data reports and may entail the use of “cookies,” “beacons, “IP addresses,” or other numeric codes used to identify a computer and/or a computer user.

Cookies and beacons: A cookie or a beacon, which is a type of cookie, is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. 2. Categories of Third Parties With Whom Information May Be Shared

Ganesh shares the information it gathers, in aggregate form, with advertisers and other partners. Ganesh also shares information submitted by users consistent with the purposes for which it was collected. By way of example, information submitted in a credit check may be confirmed with references, employers, credit agencies, banks, or other financial institutions, while parts and service requests may be shared with dealers or other partners. Business information submitted pursuant to time study requests are treated as confidential business information and not shared with third parties without consent.

Ganesh may also share information about you, including personally identifying information, if sought by legal process or requested by law enforcement, or in order to protect the rights and property of Company or the safety of our users or the public, or to protect against unauthorized use of our site. Other than as identified herein, Ganesh generally does not release personal information about you as an individual to third parties.

3. What does the Site do with the information it gathers and/or tracks?

Business Purposes for Submitted Information. Ganesh uses information submitted by users consistent with the purposes for which it was submitted. By way of example, information submitted in a credit check will be used to evaluate creditworthiness; parts and service requests will be used for fulfillment; employment applications will be used to evaluate job candidates, etc.

Statistical Analyses and Advertising: Ganesh and its agents may perform statistical analyses of user behavior to measure interest in the various areas of the Site (for product development purposes, as well as for internal management purposes) and to inform advertisers how many consumers have seen or clicked their advertising content. Ganesh may also use demographic information to allow advertising on the Site to be targeted, in aggregate, to readers for whom the advertising may be most pertinent. This means that readers might see the advertising that Ganesh and its advertisers believe is most likely to interest them, and advertisers send their messages to the people who are most likely to be receptive, improving both the viewer’s experience and the effectiveness of the ads. 5. How does the Web site protect its content and user information?

Ganesh may retain indefinitely all the information we gather about you in an effort to make your repeat use of our website more efficient, practical, and relevant. Ganesh takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect users’ information. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect the information we collect online, including encryption security for credit card submissions. Such commercially reasonable precautions, however, do not absolutely guarantee the absolute protection of your personally identifying information. You must understand that there will always be some risk that any personally identifying information that you provide to us may be released without our permission or knowledge.
